Important: SOSM is a technology platform. We do not provide investment advice, financial planning, or any regulated financial services directly. Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using the School of Stock Market platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SOSM Services Pvt. Ltd.

2. Nature of the Platform

SOSM Services Pvt. Ltd. is a technology company. We operate the School of Stock Market platform which connects users with SEBI-registered financial professionals and provides financial education and tracking tools. SOSM is not registered with SEBI as an Investment Advisor, Research Analyst, Stock Broker, Depository Participant, or in any other regulated financial capacity. Any investment advice, research, or financial planning services you receive through the platform are provided by independent, third-party SEBI-registered professionals.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the SOSM platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information during registration or KYC
  • Use the platform for money laundering, tax evasion, or any illegal financial activity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract platform data
  • Impersonate a SEBI-registered professional without proper credentials
  • Share or distribute the platform's proprietary content without authorization

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access. SOSM is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure. Accounts are non-transferable. One account per individual user.

5. Investment Risk Disclaimer

Investments in securities and mutual funds are subject to market risk, interest rate risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk. Past performance is not indicative of future returns. The value of your investments can go up or down. You may receive less than you invest. SOSM does not guarantee any specific return on investment. All investment decisions should be made after reading scheme documents and in consultation with a SEBI-registered advisor.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SOSM Services Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for: (a) any investment losses arising from advice provided by SEBI-registered professionals on the platform; (b) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; (c) losses arising from unauthorized access to your account; (d) service interruptions, errors, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to SOSM in the preceding 12 months.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and course materials, are the intellectual property of SOSM Services Pvt. Ltd. or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The SOSM platform may link to or integrate with third-party services (payment gateways, AMFI partners, KYC service providers). SOSM is not responsible for the practices, content, or reliability of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or as required by law. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases, but we retain data as required by applicable law.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through our grievance redressal process (see Grievance Redressal).

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email and in-platform notification at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
